About the Archive

What is this?

This is an archive of my icebergs made on CODA's IcebergCharts site, in response to the site's impending closure. As this is merely an archive, the following can not be done on this website in the way you would've been able to on IcebergCharts:

How do I download the iceberg as an image file?

This is no longer possible. However, I will provide pre-made image files of all of my icebergs and will find a way to give you access to them soon.

How can I propose new entries?

As this is an archive of these icebergs "in-the-moment", proposals are no longer possible like they were on the original IcebergCharts website. Sorry!

What do iceberg tags do?

They subdivide categories even further and help users finding your iceberg via the Tag Search

Icebergs

Is it possible for you to archive MY iceberg?

Yes! However, you and/or your iceberg must fit the following criteria:

  1. You must be the original creator (or connected in some way) of the iceberg.
  2. Your iceberg must be unique and well-made. (I don't need 100 low-quality copies of the same exact thing, sorry!)
  3. You must be willing to share your archived iceberg data. (This should be obvious.)
  4. The iceberg must be untouched from it's last known state.
  5. The iceberg must NOT contain illegal content. Seriously. It should be common sense, but you know, the internet is the internet, and it exposes that there are a LOT of people that end up explaining why shampoo bottles have instructions.
If you are certain your iceberg fulfills the criteria, get a ZIP archive from Your IcebergCharts Settings Page and contact me either via e-mail or at discord (@notkobun42). It is highly recommended that you do this before the site's shutdown (whenever that is), as I can still grab some metadata (i.e. date created, view count, etc) that isn't included in a ZIP archive. If this metadata cannot be obtained, it will be set to either default values or close approximations of what the values might've been. It is recommended that you do remove the [USERNAME].json file from the ZIP archive before sending, as this may contain your email address, should you be privacy-conscious about it. Please note that your icebergs will have their "work-in-progress" and "proposals wanted" tags removed on the actual iceberg page to reflect the non-moving state. However, these tags will still be shown on the icebergs list.
